Not enough time for all that I want . . .

Alright, so between packing for tour and our first gig etc. etc. I didn't get to post. Perhaps I'll get to my Wrigley review on the road, but more likely I'll take care of that and Miller Park (I'll be there Sunday 8/24) when I return in September.

Glad to see the Yanks did indeed right their ship in my absence. Their current 7.5 game lead on the Sawks is pretty convincing. But games such as yesterday's in which they had to go to Mo with an 8-4 lead only to watch him let in three more runs, hardly inspire confidence in their chances in the playoffs. Torre's gotta figure out what's going on with Mo and use him more sparingly in accordance with that. The rest of the bullpen still needs some straightening out. The Yanks may have the second best record in the majors, but they're very capable of being very bad.

Anyway, more Yankees in September.

Meanwhile, check the snazzy redesign on the Joanie Loves Trotsky web site, check our tour page for shows near you and to keep track of us on the road. And of course, be sure to check out my tour diary and link over to the other guy's blogs for their take.

See you in September.

Housekeeping: Bugs fixed

Apparently in my absence a error occurred with my blogs that sent those trying to read this baseball/Yankees blog to my blog for the imminent Joanie Loves Trotsky tour. My apologies. Hopefully those baseball readers who found no baseball will return. I think I've got things worked out.

A catch-up post on the Yanks and my review/recap of my trip to Wrigely field should follow shortly.
